Welcome to Branch River

Branch River Golf & Tennis is located five miles west of Manitowoc, Wisconsin in the village of Branch. Members of the former Lakeside Country Club established in 1909, opened Branch River Country Club in 1956.

Social life of the club centers around the beautifully appointed clubhouse, which is equipped and staffed to provide excellent service for more than 300 members.

Surrounding the clubhouse is 270 rolling and wooded acres which provide the setting for an outstanding 18 hole golf course. A golf shop, headed by our Head Golf Professional, services all golfing activity with the latest technology.

Three regulation size tennis courts located in a beautiful wooded setting were reconstructed in 1992. Windscreens provide protection and a superb visual background for play.

The sparkling, heated outdoor Olympic size pool (75' x 35') was renovated and a wading pool was added in 1995. The pool and the tennis courts are an important part of the sports facilities.

A fine trap shooting range provides spirited activity during the fall months.

Branch River Country Club was recognized by Golf Digest for its outstanding Junior Golf Program and was awarded the 1990 National Junior Golf Development Award. Our Twig Course was opened in 1994 in a continuing effort to provide the utmost in Junior Golf.
